How Anthem data breach may affect you

On January 29, 2015, Anthem, Inc. discovered that cyber attackers gained unauthorized access to Anthem’s IT system and obtained personal information of consumers possibly including: names, dates of birth, Social Security Numbers, health care ID numbers, home addresses, email addresses, employment information (not medical data).

Anthem indicates this may affect current and former customers over the past 10 years; therefore employees of NKU working here 2008 and prior may be affected. Current or former members of one of Anthem’s affiliated health plans should be watching for fraudulent activity.

Save the date! EdTech May 12-14

Go ahead and place a hold on your calendar for EdTech 2015 taking place May 12-14. EdTech is an on campus event offering three days of concurrent workshops covering academic and administrative technologies. Sessions will be facilitated by NKU faculty and staff. Attendance is free and you can attend as many or as few sessions as you like. We will provide more information on sessions soon.
