Connecting to the Network Links

Two Ways to Connect

Option 1: Wired Connection

Offices and dorm rooms have a network jack available. In most cases the use of an Ethernet cable connecting the computer to this network jack will provide access to the network. If this does not provide access, or there are no network jacks available, please contact the IT service center, or submit and online service request and provide your building location. 

• A new installation of a network jack will require a charge to your department.

Option 2: Wireless Connection

NKU has wireless access points across campus allowing Internet access. NKU is broadcasting a wireless SID named NKU. 

Use your wireless device to connect to the NKU wireless network. This network will only allow you to access internet resources.

If you need to connect to your network drive, you must connect to VPN before you will have access to your network drives.
