E-mail Quota Service

The e-mail quota service runs locally on each mailbox server. It takes anywhere from five to 30 minutes to run on each server and will run again 10 hours after it has completed a full check of every mailbox on that server. If you go from under the warning limit to over the prohibited send and receive limit in between scans, you will not receive the warning and your mailbox will be closed. Your mailbox will continue to receive messages every time the service runs until it is under the warning limit displayed above.
