Forwarding Spam in Outlook 2007
If a message gets through to your mailbox that you believe to be SPAM or of malicious intent in any way, please forward the message with the original internet header information added at the top of the message to spam@nku.edu.
Directions for Outlook 2007 to copy and paste the original internet header information into the body of the message you send to our e-mail filtering service provider are listed below.
1. Open the Message Options dialog box by either:
a. Right click on the message header and choose Message Options

OR
b. You can open the message to full screen and click on the Options corner arrow as shown below.

This will display the message options dialog box shown to the right:

2. Click inside the Internet headers text box shown above
3. Type Ctrl + A to select all the text in that box
4. Type Ctrl + C to copy this text.

5. Click Close to close the Message Options dialog box and get you back to the message.
6. Click Forward to forward the original spam or phishing e-mail message

Click to place the cursor in the top of the body of the forwarded message and type Ctrl + V to paste the original internet header information above the Original Message line within the body of the e-mail.

Address it to spam@nku.edu and click Send.
