e-Books outsell paperback and hard cover media for the first time…

In a report produced by the U.S. Trade Association, e-books and downloaded audio books increased by 200 percent from 2010-11. Between iPads, Kindles, Nooks, other e-Readers and tablet computers, consumers and students continue to purchase books, training and journals on-line, rather than in print form. http://www.publishers.org/press/30/

DR Collaboration with Murray State

Did you know? NKU’s Office of Information Technology and Murray State University’s IT are collaborating on a disaster recovery project.  Both Universities are sharing data center space to create a disaster recovery hot site location. NKU will be transferring data center equipment to Murray State in mid-May. This will allow both universities to create a more robust DR solution with faster recovery times and it will keep the costs of a DR hot site minimal.
